We are very excited to announce that we now offer paperless billing for water bills! The city has partnered with a company that allows residents to register for personal bill-pay accounts. These personal accounts offer a wide range of personalized options such as:
- Paperless billing and due date reminders
- ACH payments and auto-pay
· One-time payment $1.95 & auto pay .50 cents
- Debit/Credit payments (3.25% fee)
- Text pay and text reminders
- Scheduled payments
Residents will also be able to view and pay their tax bills online. However, per the State of Michigan, it is unlawful to send tax bills via paperless billing. You may view your bill online, but a hard copy will still be sent to either you or your mortgage company.
There are several ways to sign up for this new service. You may email Chelsea Johnson or you may register for yourself when you pay your bill via the City of Gibraltar website portal. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
