SCHEDULE CHANGE:
Beginning 5/5/2025, our DPW will be chipping branches on THURSDAYS.
Tree branches for chipping should be left as long as possible, up to a 10-inch diameter, with the larger, cut end of the branch facing towards the road in a neat, uniform pile. Messy, tangled piles will not be pick-up. When possible, smaller branches/twigs should be placed in yard-waste bags for pick-up by the garbage company (Stevens) on Wednesdays, as they could clog the chipper. Rootballs should be cut off and put out for yard-waste pick-up, when possible.
This chipping service is not for trees cut down/trimmed by a hired contractor.
